On November 26, 1943, exactly 81 years ago, a red flag was raised over the city of Gomel – a symbol of the liberation of the regional center from the Nazi invaders. We bow before the heroes who gave their lives liberating our city from the Nazi occupiers. Many human thanks, their feat for the glory and honor of the Motherland will live on for centuries.
