On the eve of the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, the Labor Square in Gomel was filled with a special atmosphere of deep respect, sorrow, and pride.

At the Eternal Flame, a symbol of unquenchable memory, a minute of silence was a poignant reminder of the price of peace and freedom.
